Description
The Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) recognizes splinting and pelvic binding application as a critical step to prevent additional injury before moving a casualty.
A feature unique to the Rise is the ability to use it as a pelvic binder. Wrap the splint around the back of the patient and feed a windlass or ratcheting tourniquet through one of the cutouts, and use the tourniquet to apply pressure as needed.
This noteworthy design is constructed with a lightweight polymer, that can withstand surface cleaning and harsh elements, including saltwater, while maintaining its rigidity and durability. Ideal for use on the battlefield, first responders, or personal use in the backcountry.
