Private courses run with 10-15 students to ensure optimal student to teacher ratio, maximising the student’s learning experience.
We service Nationwide. Private courses can be conducted on-site, in-house, or we utilise training spaces such as community halls to facilitate our open courses.
Site requirements are listed on each individual course page.
No, we do not provide meals. We have 15 minute breaks for morning and afternoon tea and a 30 minute break for lunch. We recommend bringing snacks and food to ensure you do not miss any of the course – tardiness of longer than 15 minutes may result in a ‘not achieved’ result. Tea and coffee is available for all courses.
Wear comfortable clothing that you are able to comfortably move around in, preferably dark as you will be using ‘fake blood’. While it is water soluble, it is better to be safe than sorry!
It might be worthwhile bringing a light jacket for your comfort as well.
For health and safety reasons, you are required to wear closed in shoes.
We supply all the training materials you will need for the day. We recommend bringing snacks/lunch, a jacket and a bottle of water. If you can bring your National Student Number (NSN) with you (for Level 1 and Level 2 First Aid), that would be great. We will also need to sight valid photo identification.
For individuals or small groups, the easiest way is to follow the ‘register now’ links within the course you are attending. For large groups or private courses, use our ‘book now’ button at the top right hand corner of the screen.
In order to prevent disruption to our other students, doors are locked 15 minutes after the scheduled course start time. After this time, you will have missed part of the course and will be unable to complete it on that day. Terms and conditions apply.
Scheduled courses which have been disrupted due to COVID-19 will be rebooked. All registrations will be automatically moved to the next available date, and emails will be sent to each student.
Any student who is not available on the new date will be moved to a new date, or provided a refund.
During lockdowns, we cannot offer courses to the public.
Essential services may still be able to access training in lockdowns – contact us for more information.
Please contact our friendly team at info@pracmednz.com and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Students are required to be 16 or above, unless they have parental consent – contact us for more information

No, we do not provide any child minding services. Infants and children are not permitted within the training room.
