Are you a qualified and experienced medical professional with a proven history in point of injury care? We are seeking exceptional individuals to join our ever growing team of epic educators improving outcomes for Kiwis through practical, pragmatic and hands-on first aid training.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on teaching across various company programs

  • Preparation and execution of moderation and quality assurance tasks

  • Delivering New Zealand’s highest quality first aid training programs.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Formal education in a medical field (nursing/medic/paramedicine/medical doctor) preferred but not required

  • Evidence of teaching in an adult education environment

  • A passion for sharing their experience and knowledge in first aid, prehospital care, and/or tactical medicine

  • The ability to educate on decision-making and problem-solving skills in emergency situations

  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to teach in non-conventional environments

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, contributing to shared company goals

  • High level of computer literacy to operate our Training Management System, and other cloud-based systems

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel

Position Details: 

We are offering a permanent part-time position for a Trainer (minimum hours will be negotiable). While our courses primarily run Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, flexibility to work beyond the standard 9-5 hours is essential and some weekend work may be required. We provide a competitive salary package that exceeds market standards, pro-rated based on the hours worked, and includes additional benefits for wellness initiatives and travel.
