Fully controlled, objective training
Every scenario can be pre-set, then adapted in real time by the scene controller in response to what the trainee actually does, or fails to do. A two-way communication (TWC) audio system lets the instructor speak through the simulator during the scenario itself, not just afterward.

Who supplies TacMed simulators in New Zealand?
PracMed NZ is a New Zealand-based Authorised Distributor for TacMed Solutions Simulators. We run demonstrations and help you choose the right configuration for your training.
Is there a female trauma manikin?
Yes. MATTi is a female-bodied casualty simulator with correct female anatomy, including a catheterable attachment. It is built as a female simulator, not a reskinned male manikin.
Can we see a simulator before we buy?
Yes. We can bring a demonstration to your site, wherever you are, or you can see the range in person at NZASH at Te Papa, Wellington, 26-28 November 2026.
How much does a TacMed simulator cost?

Can the simulators be used outdoors?
Yes. They are untethered, battery-powered, water-resistant and built for field exercises in any weather, as well as classroom and clinical training.
Do you have K9 simulators?
Yes. TacMed’s K9 Hero and K9 Diesel are canine trauma simulators for K9 handlers, military working dog teams and veterinary training.
