Physical Requirements

Working at heights courses are, by nature, high-risk.

Students are required to have the physical strength, dexterity, balance, co-ordination and motor skills required to safely demonstrate competence in the unit standards.

Due to the load limits specified by the manufacturers instructions on our equipment, students must be under 150kg in order to participate in these courses.

There are many practical components to this course.  If you have injuries or medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate, please contact us to discuss your options.  It is the responsibility of the hiring party to ensure all students meet this criteria.

We do not issue refunds for our courses, please ensure you read our full Terms and Conditions.

Site Requirements

To run this as a on-site private course, we require a training space with adequate room for practical activities.

We'll need two tables, enough chairs for the participants and space for the projector to display. We're happy to use your AV set up if you have one.

For the heights practical components, we need access to a structure which complies with all relevant standards, that allows students to demonstrate safely working at heights at a minimum of 2m. At any time, there needs to be space for two students to work safely at height.

If you are unsure if your site meets these requirements, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our team.
