The APRU has intuitive on-screen controls and records stored temperature for up to 72 days. Its heating and cooling capability ensures stable temperature in all austere environments spanning the realms of military operations, disaster relief response, and emergency medical systems.

The APRU is listed in the Army AWR 1930, Revision 26. It’s authorized for use on board UH-60L, UH/HH-60M, and UH-60V Army helicopters in battery powered mode.
