Nosebleeds are straightforward to manage. Apply direct pressure just below the bridge of the nose (not on the bony bridge itself) and hold it for between three and ten minutes to allow a proper clotting cascade to form. While the bleed is active, lean the person forward so blood drains out of the face rather than down the throat. Have them sit or, preferably, get down on the ground, particularly if they suffer from nosebleeds regularly and are at risk of fainting. It is not a life-threatening injury in most cases, but pooling blood in the stomach is uncomfortable and avoidable.
