Level 1 First Aid Plus

A full day of practical, hands-on first aid for anyone who works or spends time in a high-risk environment. You’ll cover the what, when and why of first aid and trauma response, then put it into practice on hands-on skills stations using real equipment.

What’s covered:

DRSABCD and staying calm under pressure
CPR and AED use
Choking response — adults, children and infants
Common medical emergencies: cardiac arrest, stroke, asthma, diabetes, seizures and more
Stop the Bleed® — PracMed NZ’s original haemorrhage control module covering wound packing, tourniquet application, amputations and chest seals

Level 2 First Aid Plus

+ Stop the Bleed®

The most hands-on first aid training on the market. Level 2 covers everything in Level 1, then goes further. You’ll work through realistic scenarios, making patient assessments, deciding what to treat first, and handing over to higher medical care.

Everything in Level 1, plus
Realistic scenario-based training — decision-making under genuine pressure
Patient assessment and structured handover to higher medical aid
Skills application: not just what to do, but when, why, and what comes next
