Level 1 First Aid Plus

A full day of practical, hands-on first aid for anyone who works or spends time in a high-risk environment. You’ll cover the what, when and why of first aid and trauma response, then put it into practice on hands-on skills stations using real equipment.
What’s covered:
- DRSABCD and staying calm under pressure
- CPR and AED use
- Choking response — adults, children and infants
- Common medical emergencies: cardiac arrest, stroke, asthma, diabetes, seizures and more
- Stop the Bleed® — PracMed NZ’s original haemorrhage control module covering wound packing, tourniquet application, amputations and chest seals

Level 2 First Aid Plus

The most hands-on first aid training on the market. Level 2 covers everything in Level 1, then goes further. You’ll work through realistic scenarios, making patient assessments, deciding what to treat first, and handing over to higher medical care.

- Realistic scenario-based training — decision-making under genuine pressure
- Patient assessment and structured handover to higher medical aid
- Skills application: not just what to do, but when, why, and what comes next
